Heron Care are registered with the Care Quality Commission as a domiciliary care agency who provide home care services and home help to individuals with; learning difficulties, onset dementia, care of children services, mental health, care of the elderly, enf of life and more.
We have met all required standards and regulations to allow us to provide home care services in all the areas of care we offer.

Alzheimer’s, Dementia & Onset Dementia

Alzheimer’s, Dementia and the onset of Dementia can be a distressing time for those with the illness, and their families. For over 10 years, Heron Care have been dedicated to providing professional support services and home help that enables service users to live independently within the comfort of their own homes. We can provide calls from as little as half an hour, to 24h home care depending on the needs of the individual. Our experienced, highly qualified care and support staff are able to aid in the delivery and administering of medication, personal care, meal preparation and light domestic duties in the home. As always, we ensure that the personal well-being of our service users is our highest priority.

One Community

Heron Care are an experienced provider of Domiciliary Care, that as been established since 2005. We work closely with several local authorities, and NHS Services. We currently provide domiciliary and supported living care to over one hundred service users throughout Merseyside.

Heron Care is dedicated to the Partnerships it has created within its communities, from local authorities, CCG, 5 borough partnership, Liverpool home care providers, Voluntary Organisations, and other agencies. We are transparent in what we do, and are always willing to share and pass on any knowledge or information for which may be relevant to third parties. We currently provide several services daily, in conjunction with other providers. We communicate and meet other local providers on regular basis, share information, ideas, and knowledge.

Learning Disabilities – Mild to Severe

At Heron Care, we take pride in our highly trained staff being able to provide for all aspects of the varied and complex nature of Learning Disabilities – from the mild to the severe cases. Our trained and experienced managers work with you to create a personalised plan of care, ensuring that we meet all the needs of the service user.
The Heron Care team have specialised training for individual areas of care. Communication (including sign language & Makaton) is an important part of our training so that we are able to interact with service users and involve them with all aspects of their care.
We also provide live-in services for the more severe Learning Disability Cases.

Autism Spectrum & Asperger’s Syndrome

Our trained and experienced managers work with you to create a personalised plan of care, ensuring that we meet all the needs of the service user. The Heron Care team have specialised training for individual areas of care. End of Life

Heron Care offers high-quality care that, when delivered collectively contributes to improving the effectiveness, safety and experience of care for adults approaching the end of life and the experience of their families and carers.

Heron Care also Boast specialised staff that have advanced qualifications in NCFE Level III Certificate in End of Life Care. Heron Care’s Operational Manager is also a Champion of End of Life Care.
